Student Orgs & Media

Getting involved can make a college experience all that more rewarding. The Hubbard School and the University offer many opportunities for those looking to make new friends, network and learn hands-on skills, all while building an employer-ready portfolio.

Discover your community.

College doesn't just happen in the classrooms, and extracurriculars don't just pad your resumé. They're what form the memories, experiences and friendships you'll take with you after graduation — the video shoots in the hallways, the late nights working on deadline, the visiting lecturer who changes your whole perspective.

That's what student groups and media organizations at the University of Minnesota are all about: helping you find your passion and find your people. Whether you're interested in sports, art, business, politics, advertising or just putting on some good ol' rock n' roll, there is a place for you here.
