The Hubbard School Advantage
At the University of Minnesota Hubbard School of Journalism and Mass Communication, students study and create research in collaboration with award-winning and nationally recognized faculty. Upon graduation, students are prepared to become the next generation of mass communication professionals.
Live and Work in a Major Media Market
We’re located in the heart of Minneapolis-St. Paul, a major metropolitan area with more than 300 advertising agencies, two daily newspapers, six television stations and 17 Fortune 500 companies. Students work within the community on both research and teaching.
Learn from an A.I.-aware curriculum
Industry leaders are looking to hire young talent that are well-versed in all the tools in the creative and managerial toolkit. At the Hubbard School, our curriculum acknowledges the pros, cons and uses of artificial intelligence, preparing students in the use of A.I. in accordance with the cutting edge of industry standards.
